Staying hydrated can be difficult, despite how important we know it is for the human body. Even though water consumption can be through food as well as beverages, it’s still ultimately accepted that plain drinking water is the best way to hydrate. It isn’t just about preventing the immediate dizzying effects of dehydration- which can be the culprit for constipation, kidney stones and other less-than-pleasant bodily functions. Water helps the body maintain healthy temperatures in different climates. It also helps cushion the joints and protect the spinal cord.
